Before clothes had zips and buttons we used lacing, clasps and brooches.

The Penannular Brooch was one of the most popular fastenings in Britain and Ireland.

Pin through sturdy fabric or leather, the pin is sharp and large enough to leave a hole so please consider what you pin it on, whether that be a bag, costumer or even as a Kilt Pin!
